Air Quality Management
Services
Since 2004, South Africa has had air quality legislation which requires all companies producing atmospheric emissions (air pollution) to have an effective air quality management plan. These companies must adhere to the national emission standards, which requires the monitoring and management of these ambient air pollutants. Certain plants and businesses (listed activities) producing emissions must follow through with Atmospheric Emission License (AEL) applications if they want to operate legally and with environmental and human health responsibility.
