Air Quality Management Plans

Services

An Air Quality Management Plan (AQMP) is compiled with the aim of providing government and industry a tool with which to manage ambient air quality.

An AQMP will firstly give an indication of the current situation with respect to the air quality. The scope of this will cover the area that needs to be managed and can range from a factory all the way up through city scale, provincial scale and even national scale baseline assessments. The AQMP will then provide specific interventions that will allow the owner of the AQMP to take steps to manage atmospheric emissions to enable the ambient air quality to conform to the National Ambient Air Quality Standards.

Gondwana's AQMPs conform to South Africa's Air Quality Management Plan Guidelines.

Gondwana has developed AQMPs for Industry and government at all levels (including the initial Vaal Triangle Airshed Priority Area (VTAPA) AQMP.
